KINESIS Therapeutic Services LLC provides Education, Consulting and Coaching as well as hands on therapy for anyone struggling with emotional, physical or spiritual challenges.
My primary goal is to assist you in overcoming those challenges, through stress reduction and relapse prevention.

My Story
KINESIS Therapeutic Services LLC began in 1989 through a series of opportunities to work with people early in recovery from substance use.
Research in the area of Stress Management had proven that clients who were able to manage their stress in healthy ways, were far more likely to abstain from substance use. As a result of this knowledge, I began to teach my clients about self care techniques and healthy touch.
Upon further research, it became apparent that people suffering from trauma issues as a result of their substance use or that of their caregivers and family members, could also benefit from learning about healthy touch and self care techniques.
Armed with this information and the dramatic results we were seeing from teaching these techniques, I set out to help educate other therapists around the state about the benefits of relaxation through the use of therapeutic touch.
This endeavor led me to creating a protocol that could be used with my clients and the general population to enhance recovery outcomes and a heightened sense of wellbeing.
About Linda C. Ridenour
She began her career in 1989 and has participated on several First Responder Teams including the 1995 CISD team working behind the perimeter at the Oklahoma City Murrah Bombing site.
Linda moved to Oklahoma City in 1992 to expand her private practice. She has a Masters degree in Human Relations and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma.
Linda is a licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with more than 20 years of management, counseling and personnel development experience including individual and group counseling; lecturing; presenting educational workshops; staff training and development, supervision and evaluation of core competencies; quality assurance, program development, reviewing, revising and implementing policies and procedures, fraud investigations, child abuse and neglect and vulnerable adults investigations.
Linda has served on numerous boards throughout her career and is passionate about her community, and enhancing the quality of care for Oklahomans.
